Conversation design for chatbots is, to me, UX in a nutshell. We start by identifying knowledge gaps and opportunities to increase proficiency on the platform. Then, we go through user journeys and possible outcomes by making sure users are never lead to a dead end. We also have to make sure to identify emotional responses in order to answer accordingly and with appropriate language for that specific situation.
